Angel Beef Casserole

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 packet (1 oz) Italian dressing mix
  • 7 cups frozen tater tots

Directions:



  • Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • Brown the Beef:
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Break it apart as it cooks, and drain any excess fat.
  • Prepare the Creamy Sauce:
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, melted butter, and Italian dressing mix. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
  • Assemble the Casserole:
  • Transfer the cooked beef into the greased baking dish. Pour the creamy sauce over the beef and gently stir to combine.
  • Add the Tater Tots:
  • Evenly top the casserole with a layer of frozen tater tots, making sure to cover the entire surface.
  • Bake and Serve:
  • Bake the casserole for 40-45 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden and crispy. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
