Angel Beef Casserole
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 packet (1 oz) Italian dressing mix
- 7 cups frozen tater tots
Directions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Brown the Beef:
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Break it apart as it cooks, and drain any excess fat.
- Prepare the Creamy Sauce:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, melted butter, and Italian dressing mix. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
- Assemble the Casserole:
- Transfer the cooked beef into the greased baking dish. Pour the creamy sauce over the beef and gently stir to combine.
- Add the Tater Tots:
- Evenly top the casserole with a layer of frozen tater tots, making sure to cover the entire surface.
- Bake and Serve:
- Bake the casserole for 40-45 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden and crispy. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
