Cheesy Spinach Stuffed Bread fresh out of the oven! 😍🧀 Perfect for lunch, dinner, or a snack. Try this easy and delicious recipe at home!
Ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- Add olive oil, flour, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a separate bowl, combine mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, spinach, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 6 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and flatten into a circle.
- Place a generous amount of the cheese and spinach mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the stuffed breads on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
