Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies 🥜🍪

 Ingredients

  • - 2 cups chocolate chips
  • - 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • - 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • - 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • - 2 large eggs
  • - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • - 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • - 1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions

    • 1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    • 2. Cream Butter and Sugars:
    • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

    • 3. Incorporate Eggs and Flavor:
    • Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

    • 4. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

    • 5. Add Chocolate Chips:
    • Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

    • 6. Stuff the Cookies:
    • Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and flatten it slightly. Place a teaspoon of creamy peanut butter in the center, then top with another tablespoon of dough, sealing the edges securely.

    • 7. Bake:
    • Place the stuffed dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown while the centers remain soft.

    • 8. Cool:
    • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
