Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Oil for frying
- 1 cup vanilla pudding
- 1 cup chocolate ganache
Directions:
- In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, eggs, melted butter, and salt. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough to about 1/2-inch thickness and cut into circles using a doughnut cutter.
- Place the doughnuts on a baking sheet, cover, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the doughnuts until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and let cool slightly.
- Fill each doughnut with vanilla pudding using a piping bag.
