Ingredients:
    • For the Dough:
    • 1 cup warm milk (110°F/45°C)
    • 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
    • ¼ cup granulated sugar
    • 2 large eggs, room temperature
    • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 4 cups all-purpose flour
    • For the Filling:
    • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (about 12 cookies)
    • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
    • ½ cup granulated sugar
    • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
    • For the Icing:
    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 4 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
    • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
    • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 2-4 tablespoons milk (as needed for desired consistency)
Instructions:
    • 1. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a small bowl, warm the milk until it reaches about 110°F (45°C). Add the yeast and 1 tablespoon of the sugar. Stir to combine and let sit for 5-10 minutes, or until frothy.
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the remaining sugar, eggs, melted butter, and salt. Add the yeast mixture and stir to combine.
    • Gradually add the flour, 1 cup at a time, mixing until the dough comes together. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes, either by hand or using a dough hook in a stand mixer, until it is smooth and elastic.
    • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
    • 2. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a medium bowl, mix together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
    • 3. Assemble the Rolls:
    • Once the dough has risen, punch it down and turn it out onto a lightly floured surface. Roll the dough into a large rectangle, about 18x12 inches.
    • Spread the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the dough. Sprinkle the crushed Oreo cookies on top of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
    • Starting from the long edge, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Cut the log into 12 equal slices and place them in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
    • Cover the rolls with a clean towel and let them rise again for about 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.
    • 4. Bake the Rolls:
    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Allow them to cool slightly before icing.
    • 5. Prepare the Icing:
    • In a medium bowl, beat together the powdered sugar, cream cheese, softened butter, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add milk as needed to reach your desired consistency.
    • 6. Finish and Serve:
    • Drizzle the icing over the warm Oreo stuffed cinnamon rolls. Serve immediately and enjoy!
