Irresistible Summer Peach Cake🍑

It's moist, sweet, and so delicious!

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, chopped
  • 1/2 cup peach preserves
Directions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Stir in vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
  • Fold in the chopped peaches.
  • Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Drizzle peach preserves over the cooled cake before serving.
