No-Bake German Chocolate Cheesecake
You won't believe how easy it is to make this No-Bake German Chocolate Cheesecake! Perfect for any occasion. 🍰💖
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans, for garnish
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut, for garnish
Directions:
- In a medium bowl, combine Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the melted chocolate mixture to the cream cheese mixture and beat until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip 1 cup heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate cream cheese mixture until well incorporated.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture over the Oreo crust in the springform pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine the sweetened shredded coconut, chopped pecans, and caramel sauce. Mix until evenly coated.
- Spread the coconut and pecan mixture over the top of the cheesecake.
- Garnish with additional chopped pecans and shredded coconut.
- Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or until firm.
