Old Fashioned Egg Custard Pie, So Yummy 😋

- - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- - 1 unbaked pie shell (deep dish)
- - 2-2/3 cups of milk
- - 1/2 cup of sugar
- - 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
- - 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Directions
- 1. Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2. Mix the Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs slightly. Add in the milk, sugar, salt, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Beat well until all ingredients are fully combined.
- 3. Fill the Pie Shell:
- Pour the egg mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
- 4. Bake the Pie:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the custard is set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 5. Cool and Serve:
- Once baked, remove the pie from the oven and let it cool. Sprinkle the top with freshly ground nutmeg before serving.
